Super Mario 3D All-Stars was released in September 2020 as part of the Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary celebrations. Nintendo also launched Super Mario Bros. 35, a free online battle online game available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, as well as the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. handheld. When the games were announced in the 35th anniversary Nintendo Direct, the company stated that all of these would be removed from sale on March 31, 2021. Nintendo's back at it again with another Maximus Cup event in Tetris 99 this weekend. It seems Nintendo isn't quite done celebrating Mario‘s 35th anniversary just yet, as this time, the event is celebrating last month's launch of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
