Excited about riding a hippogriff through a vast, Harry Potter-themed open world? Well, you won't be doing it any time soon because Warner Bros. Interactive and Portkey Games announced Hogwarts Legacy is delayed until 2022.
The announcement came via the Hogwarts Legacy official Twitter page. WB provided no additional details about the delay's cause or when in 2022 Hogwarts Legacy might release, saying only that it needs time to be what fans expect.

Avalanche Software is pushing its open-world action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy from 2021 to 2022.
The delay was announced on Twitter this morning, with a short statement thanking Harry Potter fans for their "tremendous reaction" to Hogwarts Legacy. "Creating the best possible experience for all of the Wizarding World and gaming fans is paramount to us so we are giving the game the time it needs."
