Over 70 Original Xbox And Xbox 360 Games Are Now Backwards Compatible

Microsoft is making its first additions to the Xbox backward compatible lineup since the release of Xbox Series X/S. Over 70 games are newly playable on Xbox One and Series consoles, including 20+ titles from the original Xbox that turns 20 years old today.
Current generation Xbox owners can now enjoy the entire F.E.A.R., Skate, and Max Payne franchises on modern hardware, and several new additions and existing back-compat games are receiving an FPS Boost.

The first teaser trailer for Microsoft and Xbox's upcoming Halo TV series has been released and it features just a small snippet of what we can expect in the full show.
Set to launch on Paramount+ next year, the show follows Master Chief, played by Pablo Schreiber, and Cortana, voiced by Jen Taylor. The teaser itself isn't anything too wild - it features about what you'd expect from a Halo TV series teaser - but it's still neat to see Master Chief's iconic helmet in a live-action format such as this.

The premise of the game is that a serial killer is systematically targeting women in the Chinese capital during the Tang dynasty, leaving riddles and warnings behind at the murder scenes. To celebrate 20 years of Xbox , Microsoft announced during its celeratory livestream that it would be adding a bumper 76 new games to the backward compatibility library today, November 15. Highlights from the massive list include the entirety of the Max Payne series, all of the FEAR series, Timesplitters 2 and Future Imperfect, Skate 2, Dead or Alive Ultimate, 50 Cent: Blood on teh Sand, and Star Wars Jedi Knight II. Microsoft during its Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration broadcast announced more Xbox 360 and original Xbox games will be getting backward compatibility, as well as more title gets FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S.
Microsoft is adding 76 new games to backward compatibility and 37 games will be getting FPS Boost support.
