Paradox Interactive have released a statement that is part surprise, part disappointment, and just a little relieving with all things considered: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed.
That's not all the statement reveals, however. Developer Hardsuit Labs have been removed from the project entirely and are being replaced with a development studio yet to be announced. A new development update for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 today states that the title has dropped Hardsuit Labs and has been delayed to 2022.
The statement starts out by mentioning that while the title is still in development, Hardsuit Labs has been dropped as its developer. Because of this, the title will not release in 2021 as the team originally planned, and that the team is not accepting pre-orders for the time being.
