Universal Studios Japan announced that the new theme park was slated for a February 4 debut, but because of Osaka's state of emergency status, everyone will have to wait for a new opening date. The opening for the Super Nintendo World land at Universal Studios Japan has once again been delayed. The land at the theme park was set to open on February 4th after it was originally going to open in Summer 2020 alongside the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
The number of COVID cases has begun to rise in Japan once again and the Osaka region has once again been closed in a state of emergency.

We've been anticipating Nintendo's big theme park opening for some time now, maybe as a bit of an escape. Sadly for us, and even more so for fans in Japan, COVID-19 has tightened its grip once again.
