Death Stranding Sales Reach 5 Million, Kojima Productions Thinks Game Has Performed ‘Quite Well'

Death Stranding had sold 5 million copies on PlayStation 4 and PC by the end of March 2021. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Kojima Productions head of publishing Jay Boor said “from a sales perspective, it has performed quite well,” especially as the title is the first to be developed by the studio and is a completely new and quite unusual IP.

Mortal Kombat 11 Has Sold More Than 12 Million Units Worldwide, Franchise Sales Have Crossed 73 Million

Warner Bros. Games has announced that Mortal Kombat 11 has sold more than 12 million units worldwide. Total franchise sales have crossed 73 million units since its inception in 1992.
Mortal Kombat Mobile has separately reached 138 million downloads. In a press release, WB Games said that millions of people play Mortal Kombat games daily across console, PC, and mobile platforms. The series also boasts three theatrical films, animated movies, and television series.
